3. Provide guests with directions around the hotel.

4. Answer queries regarding the hotel's service, charges, dining facility and travel directions.

5. Manage accurate accounting for all rooms.

6. Compute bills and take payments. 

7. Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of next shift.

8. Run the night audit and prepare the daily report.
